‘Raising 3 Kind & Compassionate Children’: At Harvard India Conference, Nita Ambani Shares Her Greatest Achievements
The Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation said she had also enjoyed building institutions that are timeless
Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, shared her greatest achievements with the audience at the Harvard India Conference 2025, themed ‘From India to the World’, listing her top priority as a teacher.
Addressing the event, Nita Ambani said: “As a teacher, I think my first priority was to raise my children well and I think I’ve raised kind, compassionate children who are doing some wonderful things. So, I’m very proud of Akash, Isha and Anant. But I must say that I’m also proud of the 75,000 children who have graduated from our schools. I think I had the privilege to shape, in a small way, their future."

She added: “My second would be building institutions. I’ve really enjoyed creating institutions which are timeless. The Dhirubhai Ambani International School, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School and the 14 other schools that we run as a foundation, Mumbai Indians, the Reliance Foundation Hospital and, of course, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center.
Earlier, during the event, Ambani underscored India’s growing global influence – from education and sports to culture, philanthropy and technology.
At the conference in Boston, she also recounted how her 90-year-old mother had been deeply moved by the opportunity for her to speak at the prestigious university.
In a video shared on the official Reliance Industries Limited handle on X, the company captioned: “Mother’s Pride: in an inspiring and heart-warming moment, Mrs. Nita Ambani shares how her mother felt proud that the same Harvard they aspired for but could not send young Nita because of financial constraints, has today invited her to deliver the keynote session on their platform."
Ambani delivered the keynote address at the Harvard India Conference, which took place on February 15 and 16. The conference is a student-led initiative focusing on Indian business, policy, and culture, while also highlighting India’s emergence as a prominent international player.
